arXiv metadata and URLs without building the paper. `build` and `inferred` are present only once the tree has been built; this endpoint never triggers a build and ignores `Prefer`.

`GET /{idv}/metadata.json`

**Responses**

- `200` — OK
- `400` — Invalid paper ID
- `404` — Paper, version or part not found
- `429` — Rate limit exceeded
- `502` — arXiv (or another upstream) returned an error
